Generating Instrument Level Models

A Note on the LDST

The SOA Battery uses the 60-second Letter Digit Substitution Test (LDST), but we only have access to results for the 90-second Digit Symbol Substitution Test (DSST). To create our instrument level models for the LDST, we converted DSST scores to LDST scores with the following equation: \[ \text{LDST} = \frac{\text{DSST}}{90} \times 60 \]
