Generating the Normative Samples

NACC

  • Form Version 3 : As mentioned in the "Collecting Raw Data" section, we only used participants with a Form Version 3 (FORMVER == 3).
  • Visit Dates : We excluded participants whose visit date did not fall between March 15, 2015 and November 30, 2016.
  • Multiple Observations : If a participant had multiple observations, then only the earliest visit was used.
  • NACC Cognitive Status : We excluded participants who did not have a "Normal" cognitive status (NACCUDSD != 1).
  • Missing Demographics : We excluded participants who were missing information about either their age, education, sex, or race.
  • Age : We excluded participants who were younger than 55 years of age.
  • Missing Instruments : We excluded participants who had zero recorded cognitive tests.
